Well i know everyone here is into aquariums (obviously), but i was wondering what other hobbies some of the people on here might have.

My big thing is car audio/video. I was really big into the audio area when i was younger. My last setup was 2-15" Ascendant Audio atlas subs, running off of an Autotek mm75.4 250 watts rms x2. The subs where in a monster 10cuft enclosure ported to 28hz. I did 4 competitions. One i was serriously outpowered due to the dual 15" class and i got 4th out 8 people. I got 2nd place in 2 others and 1st in a local comp. Highest DB level was a 148.7. All this in a 89-s10 blazer (hence my screen name) with no sound deadening.

This was a single one before the dual with 3.5 cubes to 32 hz, hit 136hz on that one.

Here is my other end of the hobby, this was my second video install ever its in my own 2004 Chevy Trailblazer.

Dual 7" sunvisor monitiors, dual 8" rear flip downs, and one 7" in dash dvd reciever. I did all the work by myself even removal and reinstallation of the headliner, the custom billet pieces for the visors and everything else in about 8 hours total. Total cost including all screens, wires, video amp and little parts here and there was $1100.

And this monstrosity was installed with some help from my girl in a 05 Armada, its a 17" flip down with built in dvd and audio. Massive heavy screen luckily i didnt have to remove the headliner so it made it easier, about 4 hours total. Had to use 1/8th aluminum plate to mount it.

Right now im in talk with a guy who wants a 22" flipdown and 2 headrest montiors not sure why but i told him its going to cost some money (more reef money).

I have other hobbies as well including rebuilding honda engines for race use, custom body work and interior work and custom performance parts. Never been to any schools, had really no other mentors. just usually me and my friends tearing into engines and redoing them we had an all motor honda civic running low 13's with very minor performance work. Im and american car guy but my friends where into Hondas so i went with that route. Let me know what you think and what everyone else does for other hobbies.

LOL thanks, i love it on road trips not a peep out of anyone except one kid who complains about everything. Funny to drive next to one of the guys with the little stock screen playing a video with only them in the car and i will have all but the driver visor on and they get this  on there faces. Even had 3 cars follow me on 95 watching movies, didnt know until we got to the gas station and one guy asked where we where going and that he liked the movie.

I love some fishing, been doing a crap load of camping lately as well got a nice popup waiting to do a full audio/video customization on that. Want a full tow behind but the cost is high.

    Nice Car System ;D

I was a custom installer for several years, did some outrageous sytems back in the day. Still build custom home speakers, tube amps, and the occasional car system for friends in the area.

Other than the obvious fish stuff -- Add fly fishing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and just about anything else outdoors in a wilderness area ;D

i have always been into car audio and video except back then it was just audio. i have at least 3 screens in all three of my rides. i get a sense of accomplishment when i do things myself. beings i have a commercial cabinet shop the locals hit me up for boxes whenever i have the time. i keep thinking i'll grow out of it, but no luck sofar. with the electronics i have installed several airride suspensions. one of my trucks is on here in one of my threads. i like to build arcade games also. the only problem with other hobbies is they all cost money too. crashed too many 300 dollar rc planes so finally give that up. lastly to wind down i just play a round of golf.

missed the part about the blazer. best vehicle for sound ever, acoustics like no other. i had a 90 model with two old school rockford 18s on a power 250m. those were the days mainly bc i was younger then and mom and dad bought everything.

Great looking audi/visual set ups. I was big into sound when I was younger but not so much anymore in the car. In the house however still like my sound.

As far as other hobbies, I play golf and enjoy long range target shooting with rifles (over 250 yards) and just about any distance for pistols. Also do alot of diving to view God's fish tanks around the world.

I like reading what y'all like to do for fun!

I'm a figure skater (don't make fun!) and have done that for 13 years or so. I also love to play any sport, watch football, do art and travel.
