    Very cool to have. I used to have them chase the freeze dried shrimp on the end of a hanger or tongs. Neat to watch them swim around.

    Someone mentioned that they are jumpers and they are. Get a tight fitting lid.

    Also watch how often you do feed it. Loved mine for about 1 1/2 years until it got big enough to eat an angel. I haven't had a $85 fish meal before! LFS gave me a hard time about taking it back to, didn't want it eating her "fishies" as she said. Haven't been back to that store since she assured me she'd take it back if it ever got to big.

    Anyway congrats, they are super cool fish to have and very entertaining to feed.

    mine jumed out my tank once too from like 5 feet above and stayed out the tank for like 10 15 min and still is alive ang doing fantastic!!!:)

    Haha not to worry, i only have 1 shrimp and its name is Kimbo slice! it took on the Eel the first day i got it and scared it into a den haha..
    And i have a red sea max, so theres no where for it to go really..

    It eats silver sides straight from my fingers!
    clipped me earlier today, lil guy has some foot pounds in those jaws.

    About 14 inches long, and an inch or so thick
