Snow flake eel qustion's ?

I got a baby 5" SFE and at this size he can't do any damage. He's eating krill and silver sides anyways what the least I can feed him ? Once a week ?

Also he seems shy and hides a lot will this change ?

When I had a small snowflake, I fed him a silverside every 5 days. Mine was about 8 inches long. At night, I would see him poking his head out of the rock, stalking my Clownfish. It scared me at first. Make sure you have EVERYTHING covered. Great jumpers, can fit through a hole that has the diameter of a pencil. That's how mind died. hope you have good luck.

 

If it can get its mouth around it it will attack it.

 

Cool fish, they are. I used to want one until I realized how aggressive they could be. Maybe when i set up another tank.

 

I had one for 2 years and it ate ever 5 days at first (first 2 weeks) and then was only interested in food about once every 2 weeks. It was very chill and did not stalk or harass anything. Honestly I liked to see it eat and I was a little bummed that it did not eat more.

 

On the low side how often do I have to feed him

 

I would feed him every 5 days at the most.
