Smelly Skimmer

    Ever since i got my backpack protein skimmer the room started to smell...Will this smell go away or is there something wrong?

    put some activate carbon on top of the collection cup as i guessing thats where your smell is comefrom.

    +1...had to do that for my skimmer...works

    Is it a really dry skim...might adjust it so it can be more wet

    LOL!!!! Means it's working dude :D. Yeah, as stated above, just make it a little more wet and the smell will decrease. And carbon, again as already stated, works great as well. I have done both with mine because my wife would have a poopy-fit if the dining room smelled like skimmate. I may actually have issue with it!!!!!
