    Id like to get mine to clean my hand for fun, but my female clown won't let me into her tank...

    Yeah, always clean your hands before they go in the tank.

    Try offering the back of your hand, and hold it very still about 1 inch away from some rocks near the shrimp. If you offer your palm, or place your hand too close, you'll most likely scare it.

    Also, try whenever it's most active (for me, it's right after lights out).

    It's great, cut down on my spa visits. Now, I just stand by the tank with both hands in the water for 30 minutes a day, and my hands look like a model's!

    Def. make sure your hands are clean before!

    I always joke with guests letting them know I have a pet that gives out manicures for free ;). It is fun to have them do it but they can pinch when they go for scabs haha.

    I always use gloves now in the tank but mine will still jump on my glove, silly shrimp.

    my cleaner shrimp, well i dont have him now, but when i had him, he would always bite me, dosnt hurt but it does not feel good either, so whenever i do rock work or coral placement, i always have to shake my hand in the water so he dosnt bite me, but he always always always comes back after like 2 second
