i have an eshopps 75 skimmer. it worked great for the first few months of use. im now gettin water into the airline tube and its making a pulsing sucking noise. probably a quik fix for an experienced person. any ideas on how the water is getting in there and how to stop it?

I would make sure the air hose is tight. Is your water level steady (ie auto top off?)?

remove the line off the skimmer. make sure it is clean, and no water is in it. Then reattach it and make sure it is air tight, if not , some zip ties can come in handy.

Wow! I'm having a similar issue. Not much air is getting into my water column so no foam gets produced and it seems to be pulsing. I don't think its an airline issue, because my airline is clear. I just made a post before seeing your. Same skimmer.

i just cleaned out the skimmer and opened up the pump. found a bunch of cheato tangled in the impeller/propeller what ever its called. broke a small ceramic disk that sits behind the the magnetic part inside the pump chamber. but it turned back on and is back to working fine for now. the tightness of the airline hose didnt seem to be the problem. new dendrophylia coral added today =D

ohh when u go to reattach the pump to the chamber make the elbow inside is pulled out as far as it can go so the pump doesnt wiggle at all whe its attached. it has a little grey colored nut on the outside i was able to grab onto with my nails and pull out. (sorry if my explaination is confusing) but it worked for me. get back to me if u still need help
