    I think i will stick to water changes.

    water changes should certainly work in a tank that size as far as maintaining parameters

    although I do like the idea put forward by Mr Bill, for running carbon and GFO if mesh pouches in your tanks media chamber

    GFO will help with reducing any phosphates that are in the tank, and also capture phosphate released by any decaying algae - thus can help to end and prevent further outbreaks of plague algae


    Carbon will help polish the water to crystal clear and also remove toxins released by the corals themselves

    best of both worlds with zero investment in new equipment IMO
