    he might have gotten too close to the foxface, those are venomous.

    lol, yep, Sorry for your loss, but this probably saved ya some bullying issues, I'd look into the flasher wrasses, cooler, nicer, prettier, more beneficial, or a melanarus.

    I haven't heard of anyone recording a parasite that makes a fish look bloated, but as some can with mammals I suppose it's possible. He also could have been stressed due to tankmates or his reflection, making him more vulnerable to something that isn't that noticeable to you and has fast final stages. Or like billielewis3 said, it also could have been him spooking the foxface and getting poisoned.

    At least you lost a fish that was a bully, though one or more of the tangs might be a new bully toward added fish.
