I fed silversides to my lion, puffer and ray before they died. Now I feed selcon soaked silvers to my anemone. Sometimes my maroon will steal a chunk for himself. I usually float the a piece near the tentacles until it grabs it, it will take it into its mouth from there. I rinse the frozen water off the chunk I break then soak it in RO water with the selcon. I'll give 1/2 to a whole silverside to my anemone, once or twice a week, depending on how much my maroon feeds it.

I think 'you' missed the humor, but that's aight.
Your post looked like "I just got some food but don't know what for..." hence the joke of ocean front property.

    :)

    sry..

thanks mike .. seems like maybe its more of a larger fish food... i got it mostly cause i seen a video of a mandarin tearing down on one. so anything you can get a mandarin to ingest is worth a try. prob just cut small chunks every once and a while and see if the fish like it if not its 4$. maybe ill give my torch a really small piece.

If your fish dont eat it (which I highly doubt it) use it as bait for fishing :cheesy: (very good bait for fishing).

I will thaw a whole silverside, then place next to a powerhead in the tank while holding and smashing together. Rub thumb and pointer together on the silverside til you have a head and tail. Then I let it go for the clean-up crew.;D My tank loves em'...............

I have never seen a mandarin eat more than tiny pods in a tank. I almost bought one but before I left for my LFS, I realized my damsels pretty much wiped out the pod population in the tank, so the mandarin stayed at the store.
