Is Johnson n johnson Silicone II reef safe? I know they use to have some silicone out that had biogaurd. I did not see it on the tube. The tube says Premium Waterproof Silicone and 100% silicone. It also says "Window/Door/Attic/Basement". The tube is white and has some blue and gold lettering.

Sitting her I decided to add two photos:

Man, you got raped w/ how much that stuff costs. The "aquarium silicone" is just 100% silicone. I hope you didn't need to use much.

Read the fine print and make sure it doesn't say anything about not for use in aquariums or anti-bacterial.

Definately. I had some that said 100% silicone and while I was waiting in line I noticed 'not for use in aquariums' printed in the very fine print. Went to HomeDepot and bought GE type 1 for windows and doors.:)

Home Depot carries silicone just for aquarium use. Its not in that style of tube but on a rack and is in a metal like squeeze tube. A little harder to work with because you cant put it in a caulk gun but peace of mind knowing its aquarium safe!!!
