silicone turning yellow

ok i would like to start off by saying thanks to everyone at 3reef, this forum has been very helpful and i wish i had known about it when i started my tank.
with that out of the way i have a question that i have been pondering over for some time now and no one seems to have an answer. the silicone that i used to silicone the baffles in my refugium with is starting to turn yellow and i was wondering if it is anything i need to be alarmed about of if i just didn't let it set up long enough before i started it. any input would be much appreciated, and thanks again to all you fellow reefers.

 

Hey mate do you have any pics of this coloured silicone at all . Im thinkin its some evil coloured algae or something , how old is the tank?

 

the tank is about 2 yrs old but the fuge is only about 2 months old. my girlfriend is working on some pics now.

 

i know it changes colour through age but if its only a couple months old ??

Yellow silicone?

Well my girlfriend just informed me that the sump is actually about 3 or 4 months old, if that makes any difference. The silicone I used was CRL 33S .
