Hi guys! I'm new to both the forums and to the hobby and I think I need some help! I have a 29g biocube that has been up and running for 3 months. Everything is doing well with the exception of my kenya tree. It appears to be sloughing goo off of several branches. Is this the "pooping" that I've heard of corals doing or is this cause for alarm?

I have done the first water change since I got it about a week ago and it did what several people have described...wilting in, not opening up for a couple days, then back to normal. I have at the bottom of the tank by a large chunk of live rock as I understand they don't like strong current. I feed my corals phytoplankton twice a day. pH this morning was 8.2, no3 barely detectable. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

mine has recovered from a couple of bad accidents(rocks being dropped on him, taking him out of the tank and putting him down on a shelf cause the phone rang and not putting him back for over an hour)he always recovers, amazingly tough coral,he was ripped almost in half when i dropped the rock on him and within weeks was back to normal
