sick chromie?

    I have a green chromie i've had for a while thats all splotchy with spots(not ick)more like a dalmations spots,and sort of dull colored all the way around,i sold my 55 and got a 29(just waiting for my lights to come in,so i have them in a 15 gallon tempoarily,but used the water from the 55 along with the sand,live rock,a few other fish,and a few coral frags,everything else looks fine(i have an oversized aquaclear filter going and diy biofilter from the 55)all params are fine-ph 8.2 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 10 ppm nitates,temp between 79 and 81,sg at 1.024,any ideas?Contagious?Need to get him out?(allready tried,and while chasing him,his color went back to normal while he was on the run,but now he's back to splotchy again(20 min later)
