    Benefits are numerous; nitrate reduction, water clarity(carbon),phosphate reduction, overall better health...easy to use, easy to maintain...countless possibilities, just get the right pump.

    you dont know what you got, just means you need to give it to me!

    Awesome grab you got there. The most important thing to remember wth biopellets is that the pellets "simmer" in the reactor. Otherwise it will produce gaseous that can become toxic to the tank. Also start with lower dose of the pellets for the first week or so then what is recommended. I started with half the amount for a week and then added 1/4 of the pellet every week for the next 2 weeks until i got to full amount

    I dont know what the sand time thing is for though?

    haha the hour glass is showing that i have nothing but time :) haha or at least about 58 minutes left...

    anyways, how do i effectivly rinse this carbon? i tried rinsing it in some old tank water i had from a previous water change, but cant get it clear...??!

    tips, tricks, ideas?

    lol that is too funny

    i just put it in a colander and run it under tap water. it takes a while with a lot of stirring to get it clean
