should I Quarantine coral?

So what about lighting on a QT tank for SPS, does it have to be high intensity, or will a small CF or T5 hood suffice without bleaching the corals. LFS here uses 250w DE HQI's over their coral tanks, would moving them to a lower light tank for 3-4 weeks harm them?

What about moving them from the lower light QT to a much more intensely lit DT after the QT?

 

I have several old fixtures around from a 2x18w PC, to a 2x65w PC and even a 150w MH pendant depending on the corals lighting requirements and how long I keep them in QT.
