Iv got 1 silver molly in a 6 gallon freshwater aquarium at the moment. I know mollies need 10+ gallons, but the reason I have the fish in there is a completely different story. The molly got an infection in his eye afew days ago. I cured it and his eye is completely back to normal again. Im looking to get afew guppies for the tank and get rid of the molly, But my lfs wont accept him since he has gotten disease's in the past. I know the tank is too small for him and he always swims at the surface for oxygen. He isnt very active and is suffering in the aquarium on his own, I don't no what to do with him other than flush him but he's a 100% healthy fish atm besides the fact he is suffering for more oxygen in the 6 gallon. Should I flush him and get 4-5 guppies to live together in the 6 gallon tank or is there another way around this ?

    Thanks In Advance
    Conor ;)

you could try to acclimatise it to salt water and keep it in the bio orb
which has 20 gallons and only 2 clowns so would not over load that tank

you should not put live fish in the toilet system really - or dead fish for that matter
