    You know I found something interesting out from a lfs cause they were out of alk and ph test one time, you can use red cabbage to test ph and alk. He gave me the site to look it up. Yes it may be alittle off but it will do in a pinch if you really need it

    really?!? I mean I know alk affects PH. but you can have a high PH and low alk also. I'm sorry maybe because it's late at night that I'm not connecting the dots lol

    The knowledge and passion it takes to be a true hobbyist isn't something that can be purchased for minimum wage, and expecting someone who also has to cover the bird section and the check out counters to have it is just foolish.
