Ya I got the receiving end on a 1400.00 digital camcorder. I was livid. The thought crossed my mind to drive to their address down south and beat the hell out of them.

Here is some fuel for you.

I own a company called Distribution By Air in Tampa and when someone is shipping via FedEx and there are 3 ways of doing this, 1-via the website with an account; this will print out on a page or label the size of a half sheet of normal printer paper, 2 - stand alone PC system or the software from FedEx this prints out those 4 x 6 thermal lables, 3 - via the old handwritten paper airbill.

In either case you Must Check a box requesting "Adult Signature Required" no if and buts about it.

Is what I am saying is they the store selected signature required FedEx did not screw up...there systems are way to automated and the scanner the driver has will not let him deliver the package(s) without the signature that is written on the little screen on the scanner.

So tell me what the label looked like.

It's basically what they did to me. Took my money and sent me some rocks! ha.

I know the company just started their business. It's two guys maybe a couple of employess and they have been in business less than a year. So the guy that emailed me is the manager, owner, and shipper all in one.

Exactly what I thought too. I emailed the guy asking him why FedEx would all the sudden include signature when it wasn't supposed to be. He told me and I quote, here are his two emails to me copy and pasted:

"I actually requested the package have no signature as you requested so if they sent with signature request it was an absolute error on Fed-ex part and I promise you this."

Then I sent an email back asking how FedEx could mess this up and got the reply:

" shipped maybe 15 packages that day buddy so relax. Anything could have happened with them messing up and marking it as signature and something else none..."

    Then nothing else again.

So did it have a thermal label or a old paper airbill?

he is hoping you wait to long to make a complaint on paypal and trying to make you think it was someone else's fault. Go to paypal asap and open a dispute about the items being damaged. Send them an empty box that has a tracking # on it. Give paypal the number and when it arrives you will have your money back. No point sending the crap they sent you back. You'll just be wasting money.

No you need to send thier junk (not yours) back...not an empty box as that will just piss them off and they will take a pic and say you sent them an empty box

So the box was in the garbage bag already, I had to dig a bit, but it ended up being thermal paper.

Yeah, it was 3.2 lbs being sent to me so it probably has to be 3.2lbs or at least around there going back.
