sharks and shark eggs

    I dont see anyone ever metion them so i was wondering (i know they eat fish) how big of a tank and what fish do they eat and will they munch on any coral or shrimp?
    just a thought in my head;D

    Diet: Anything that is smaller.

    if food is not found will they eat coral or inverts? does the tank size vary per shark?

    they might not eat corals but will probably knock em all over, and how you gonna light a tank that big and keep up with supplements?

    i dont know any suggestions? maybe football field lights jk lol.i want to know cuz ive seen them in a lfs and i wanted to see if anybody has tried to have one.

    not many people do try because of the cost and many would rather do a 600 gal reef. hehe
    A guy named danger dave inquired about them before and said he was going to try them, but he skipped around and always changed his mind so i doubt he did.

    but arent there any sharks that stay under 10 inches that just eat something small?

    i just found this Saltwater Fish For Sale Saltwater Aquarium Fish Marine Fish Saltwater Fish Invertebrates Anemones Acclimation Guide Water Guidelines Buy Sell black tip reef shark.thats a big tank and a big shark.lol i would never be able to have seaworld in my house tho.i just called the ls and they sell banded sharks.he said that they recommend a minimum 125 gallon for a banded shark but really dont support it.they have had customers succesfully have some in them but it slows their growth. hmmm im still lost tho

    as far as i've read, you are talking 1000 gallons + to comfortably house 1 shark and anything that will fit in their mouths is potential food {i doubt corals and rock type stuff, but definatly squid, shrimp, other fish, etc.....}

    i wouldnt even want a shark, i mean i can buy a jar of prime reef flake for like $3.00 but cant imagine buying frozen fish for each day. and if you did get a tank that big, why not do a large fish only with triggers, puffers, tuskfish (very pretty), and other colorful active easier to feed and maintain fish?
