Shackman's SPS Tank! (11/18/2011) New Adds/Growth Shots!!

Yea i caught a lot of crap for it but, i was only doing what was best for my corals, and personally i didnt think the LED's were it, i do miss the color under the LED"s but i can always add some moonlights that will make them pop just as much as my kessils did, and that is plenty for me, my halide is awesome, yea it sucks power but.. what in this hobby doesnt really? the corals (acropora's) are actually starting to finally encrust the plug after what 2 weeks? so i can honestly say, im glad i made the switch yes it cost me alot of cash but what doesnt in the hobby? or even just to live lol. Thanks for the back up

 

First time I saw your tank fellow Wisconsinite! Thats a beautiful scape with some sick SPS covering it. We may have to do some trading soon. In the coming months Ill have alot of frags to trade or sell.

 

Sounds like a plan to me!! lol i actually just bought 15 more frags.... idk how im going to fit everything... plus im going to the green bay frag swap on the 29th and im sure ill come home with something.. you pretty much have to its a rule lol : im trying to find something to put in my sand bed that will fit nice, im thinking maybe a clam?

 

I think you would love a clam. I got one as a freebie and it is a fascinating creature. I know a guy locally who is selling the most insane ultra maximas for 90 bucks a piece. Its a great deal.

 

Hey guys! heres a quick growth shot update, so far everything is doing great! had a run in with some nudibranc's awhile back but im glad to report they are completely gone!! Now the pictures im going to post really arent all that great, im only using a big zoom camera, im still looking for the right dslr camera and lense i want to use! im open to suggestions on that!! Hope everyone enjoys the pictures! and there will be many more to come!! ;D
