Sexy Shrimp?

their expensive,hard to net,and you need a bunch if you want to see them.i doubt most fish would be fast enough to eat them.i want about 8 for my 55 gallon

 

they dance regardless, we have one, and we were advised to keep odd numbers because they will move as a "pack" in odd numbers. they scatter if in even numbers.


the sexy dance is HILARIOUS

 

also i forgot to mention, they WILL host something, our hosted gsp for a while and is now sharing the sebae with our clowns. they dont mind the shrimp and the shrimp doesn't mind them

 

Trust me, a lot of joy can be had from calling up all the LFS's and asking if they have 'sexy shrimp'.

Nowhere that I see as good enough in the local area has any at the moment, so I'm going to wait. Well.. one shop does.. but all the tanks look a little worse for wear and I wouldn't dare let something from there touch my tank!

 

where u from elliot? I know of a few LFS around ventura county california that have a bunch. Including my Petco

I have 5 sexies in my 14g. I love them and definitely plan on more. The males are smaller and the females have bigger tails, also the ring on their tails is split on the females
