Is there a telltale sign in clown fairy wrasses (such as highfin in male carpenters flashers)? I think she is a girl (no highfin)...?

I don't know off the top of my head. One thing to keep in mind is that I believe Cirrhilabrus wrasses can be bi-directional hermaphrodites, so they can change from female to male (all are born female) but under the right social conditions (I believe having a more dominant male around most likely) they can revert back to female.
At least that's according to Scott Michael's latest wrasse book and I'm not 100% sure all fairy wrasses can do that but it's something to consider as a possibility.

Google says (don't always take the first search result's word for it though :) ):
Red-eyed Fairy Wrasse, Cirrhilabrus solorensis, Redheaded Fairy Wrasse, Solor Fairy Wrasse, Clown Fairy Wrasse, Tricolor Fairy Wrasse

Hope that helps even a little bit.
