    Havent gotten an rodi yet so ill have to truck water for a couple weeks but here is my main issue. My mag 1800 is dead i got the sedra on my asm working after a good cleaning but the bubbles are huge and not real thick could that just be cause i had it in tap water to make sure its still working

    Anyone have any advice on an in sump return pump i had a mag18 but ive had tons of issues with danner drives in the past

    You won't get great bubble production in fresh water.

    Rio HF pumps are good. I am using one on my return and have had no problems for 4+ months.

    + 1 on above - you need hard water to get the fine bubbles ( more resistance)

    Were just finally settled into the new house with winter coming up ill be on the boat fishing less and have more time to work on this

    I have been running a RIO HF20 for over a yr. Not 1 issue. I will replace it with another one when this one fails.
