    I just got a new toy! Flow is amazing. This thing moves all the water in a 130 in nice, even, random patterns.

    Thanks. Yep, MP60. Surprisingly quiet. Quieter than the 40.

    It looks to be a newer design. The wet side is more like the MP10. It actually looks like it's air cooled. It has vents.

    That's interesting. I see the vents. I don't see how that makes it quieter though.

    I don't think in and of itself the air cooling makes it quieter. It adds a slight humming. I think it's indicative of the whole thing operating at tighter tolerances though. That may explain the quieter operation. I looked at their website and my experience is consistent with their expectations. The 60 apparently has better balanced magnets, etc. which make for quieter operation.

    I can't wait to pick up a few mp10's for my 75. That thing looks like a subwoofer. Lol
