    Ok since you said it's indoor. What Kind of roof is over the pool. For a reef and your setup with depth lighting would be a big issue. So if you could create like a massive skylight with heaters built in to combat ice and snow in winter to get free lighting by sunshine. Indoors enables you to control climate and everything. The sola tubes also would be a great idea.

    For a tank that size you would also need a very large container probably like 2000-4000 gallons on hand to mix saltwater in and a separate pump to deliver and a drainage type system hooked up for water changes.

    You could have a really cool looking tank. The shark option is for sure. I'd personally try schools of tangs and stuff as well.

    I would make a Hawaii biotope.:) some unicorn tangs, mated pair of naso tangs,angelfish crosshatch triggers schools of butterfly fish and tangs. pure awesomeness;D

    the more i think about this more i LOVE the idea.

    The room is fully heated, as is the water, the roof is glass, not unlike a conservatory/or sun room.

    I could use solar panels to charge batteries to operate the lights for a couple of hours per day to help with the coral etc.
