its not a compition lol but as his GF she wants to feel like she did give a fair price for it so if he can get her to 150-200 the comprimise there is better for both.

I also agree I would charge my mom, only because she still charges me for everything :p

This is hard one to figure out.... My ex of 5 years still has my Nintendo DS and to this day it makes me MAD!

So here is what I would do, lend her the tank and if things go south you get it back and if things go well you still get to enjoy the tank.

idk how old you are now but what I liked at 18-23 I don't like at 26, not saying this is for everyone!!! So cool your jets, but people change and a tank is a very expensive object to just give away.

I hope this helps and good luck :)

This hobby is not about making a profit. Every single one of us should be in it because we intrinsically enjoy it. If that involves selling a tank to a girlfriend then you may be in the hobby for the wrong reasons...

Well, if you can afford to give it to her, give it to her, if you need the money to put towards the new tank, then charge her. I have learned over my many relationships that the first 6mnths its just infatuation, if stuff is still going good after that then you can consider it more likely to work out.

Ok dingo! i love your attitude! i would really enjoy it if you would deliver your tank to me for free :) lolol

She does like to earn her things.I want to give it to her but she just won't accept it.I'm leaning tastes letting her "win" this 1.ill just buy her some stuff for it with the money.i can afford to give it to her and she can also afford to buy it.how ever normally I'd just give it to her seeing as its only gonna fetch 150 200 range.

as a woman I'd like to put in my 2 cents here. IMO you should sell it to her for whatever price she feels comfortable with. That way she is happy (and not feeling guilty) about her tank. My bf and I have started a couple of tanks together and they are always supposed to be 50/50 cost wise, but somehow just about anything I mention liking "magically" shows up. I've almost gotten to the point where I don't mention things any more... almost;) Point being, if she likes being independent (as I do) paying for her own tank means a lot to her, but gifts are almost never turned down.

I would agree with you but she wants to pay almost new price.I wouldn't sell it to a stranger for that much let alone my gf. I think in gonna settle on 200 plus all the sand and rock and bits and pieces to go with it.I think its a happy medium for both of us.
