Selling on eBay

Any member her sell stuff on ebay? I just want to to talk with some other members that might also sell items on eBay? How you obtain your items to sell and if you use a dropshipper?

I make all my items then sell them on ebay.. well actually people order them then I make them then ship.

 

I sell all kinds of stuff on ebay. I buy lots of stuff too.

Mostly, I clear my house of junk and sell it. Sometimes, for things I know sell well, I will keep an eye out for them...



I use USPS exclusively. I also do 'calculated shipping'. But this ALWAYS calculates it as less than actual cost, so I got sick of losing money bc of this, so I now always add phantom weight to the calculator - it's a bit weaselish of me, but I had enough buyers tell me they didn't like my flat rate shipping and buyers seem happy with the calculated like this.

I still don't make money on shipping and I still often even have to pay part of it out of pocket bc even with the phantom weight it doesn't always calculate enough. I blame ebay, not me for this.

What doesn't sell, goes to goodwill or waste management, depending on what it is and condition.
