Umm, Gio, who is smuggling what? I must have missed that part....

Bruce, Good life for a Cockatiel...nice job! ;D

Mr. Hu., sugar gliders are for pets here, not for dinner!

Also, if water is not for the hand, don't you folks bathe in China?

Thanks for the info...I would avoid it if I were you. I mean seriously, what are you going to do with a pet squirrel? The novelty is going to wear off and then you are going to be stuck with a caged critter in your house that according to this string is going to literally stink as it ages....

Bruce...for what it is worth, my parents are major animal lovers, and all around good people. They managed to kill my reef tank in about 3 weeks when I went to college. I would donate it to your school science class or something like that. Better yet, let your parents do it so they can maybe take a tax deduction for it. :)

:laugh5: Better than a strong cup of coffee!

As for sugar gliders, they are not easy to take care of, they are smelly even as adults, feeding them can become expensive. In order to "bond" with them, you will have to carry juveniles around with you everywhere you go during the day in a makeshift pouch. Also, because they are nocturnal, they will be active and NOISY only after dark so if you plan on doing any bonding with them when they are most active, be prepared for late nights.

If you get a male and female pair, be prepared for babies which means more expense and more work. This is no gerbil and requires extreme amounts of dedication and time. I know that I, at 18, had neither dedication nor time. :)

well APC, u can do a lot with them, i mean u can play with them for hours and when there bonded to u, u can take them out wit u and let them even ride on ur shoulder, that's what the owner of the gliders that Im gonna buy does...and they are very luvable and cute, they bark to know that u r there and that means that they luv u...

and amcarrig, im not getting a male and female cuz i don't want babies im getting 2 males, and males bond easier and there more active and have a charming personaility..ya they do require a lot of attention cuz u have to play and bond with them cuz that's the best part..but i have a lot of time on my hands and iam excited to get them..and feeding isn't to bad, they eat a lot of the same stuff we eat and then u just blend it in a blender and u feed it to them and it can last like 1 month or so..so it's not that bad and for the smell, the smell is very faint it's not even noticible even when there older...
