I moved some frags around and glued everything down (that wasn't already encrusted) :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
From the last page it looks like the Monti colored up and is doing well.

Are there any fish in the tank?

I give your dad credit for doing as good as a job as he does.

Wow, props to your Dad! It must be nice to see a big difference in growth.

Yes, I appreciate that he is willing to help out and make sure everything is doing well. he calls me at school whenever he sees something he thinks might be wrong.

The new growth is always welcomed,of course. I love when I'm away for a while and come back to see a significant difference. It's great to be able to say that several months ago this coral looked like it was near its grave (funny but true).

No fish as of yet, Corrailine. I will be adding some when I take it over next year, but I see it as extra work until then. Thanks for the compliments.

Having more issues with the tank...will update later tonight or tomorrow.

    Aiptasia
Chemical imbalance (likely) or bleaching of hard corals
Powerheads not working properly (running in reverse even after taken off of timer/controller)
Water temp dropping - new heater on the way (ordered online)

School is going fairly well. It's kept me busy for sure. I got As and Bs in most of my classes, but didn't do so well in my western art history class. And unfortunately my general studies writing was pass/fail and so it doesn't go into my GPA. I'll be taking 16 credits this spring semester, some of which are closely related to my major (yay). The change in pace will be nice.

Made lots of new friends this semester though. Good friends. :) Paying for school has been tight, but I work two jobs and the plan is to work off campus next school year and get an apartment (with a roommate hopefully to cut costs).

Yes, the tank is still at home. Dad empties the skimmer and does weekly water changes. He said he's been getting the aiptasia with TLF kalk paste, but some of them have still gotten HUGE. ugh.

    * The orange monti cap is very pink-white in colour. Dad doesn't test, I will need to do this tomorrow.
    * GSP - polyps retracted, aiptasia on rock likely stinging them
    * Frogspawn - " "
    * LPS - noticeable colour morph (but not in a bad way), polyps wide open
    * Zoanthids/palythoas - good colour, polyps open normal

    I think I have flatworms :(

Little red dots on my sand and glass. Some also on the monti where the tissue is basically all white. Dad said this colour loss occurred within the last two weeks (but I don't remember him ever mentioning these).

...powerheads running just fine now that I took them off the wavemaker. Skimmer pump not working. Don't know why.
