seachem reef salt

I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced a clouding of water with this brand of salt. i recently changed over from rc to reef salt by seachem. I'm changing 10 gallons per week and the water sits for a day before the wc. i have a powerhead and heater in the rubermaid container i use and it mixes clear when first making it, but then clouds up over night.. Once the pwc is done the tank is cloudy for about 30 minutes and then clears up

 

I don't think it is a problem. If you checked peramiters and they are fine. Why did you change salt brands? Some salts desolve differntly. I have used a lot of different brands just not seachem. It could be just the disturbance of the tank. My tank always clouds with a pwc. The next morning it is so clear though. What a good feeling.

 

Yes, I just changed to Seachem about a month ago after having some issues with RC from 3 different batches.. And before I get a "I told you so" from certain people put there.. Yes you were right RC is COMPLETE CRAP.

Now back to the question at hand...

Yes Seachem does cloud up after a few hours after mixing and clouds up the tank for a Little while. But I have found that if I mix my salt at least 2 days in advance I have no issues at all with cloudiness. But I also have had no issues at all if I use it while its cloudy either.

 

Thanks, after doing alot of reading, i decided that reef salt would be better for my reef. can't go wrong with seachem products.

 

I was thinking about purchasing this salt mix but I dont really want the clouding up of my tank? Does this salt mix do this to everyone? Does anyone know why this mix does cloud and others dont? Im new to reefing...
