sea hare in korialla

    one of my korialla 3 pumps got unpuluuged lastnight some how i woke up and noticed so i plugged it in not realising my sean hare was in it. i noticed after 10 to 20 seconds and quicky unplugged it again. i took the pump out with some tank water took it apart and he came out look like he has a small notch missing from his back 1/8 in deep waht should i do? hes in a bucket of tank water now aand moving around in it

    I don't know what to tell you, but I do have a question for you. Has your slug ever got tangled up in your Koraila before? The reason why I ask is because I just ordered one and was wondering if I needed to figure out a way to cover mines.

    Thanks for answering that. Yeah, I don't know what I would do. I'm assuming you know what could happen should a sea hare dies in your tank. If you have a extra hob filter and small tank I would quarantine him for a few days to make sure he's ok. I'm not sure how you would feed him though. My understanding is that they feed particularly on hair algae.

    well i had one that aparently was not to healthy when i got him and died a month or so prior to this lil guy. i dont beleive them to be toxic as some people think. but i dont have a qt i think he will be ok as hes back to roaming around the bucket but id rather hear it from some1 with more knowledge bout these guys

    If he's moving around, he's probably fine. Keep some aerated, heated saltwater and carbon around just in case.

    cann i put him in the dt? i think he will be ok he made it this far...and i yoinked out some gha and put it in his bucket and he ate it

    Yeah, I would put him in there. They're tough little buggers as long as you don't starve them to death.
