    OK so just watched BRS on how to make a screen top. Talked to them still a little concerned that using aluminum window channel will hurt the tank Yes / No? As always thanks

    I wouldn't worry about it. I've never had any problems with mine, 6+ months. It's not like it sits in the water...

    Food for thought: one of the phosphate absorbing media compounds is aluminum based (although it's performance is poor in contrast to GFO, but that's another story).
