Thats pretty awesome skimate. Guess you can get good stuff for not paying too much. Many times going the inexpensive route just costed me more in the end. Glad it worked out.

I am really wanting to get this skimmer. I have read on several forums that it has been a good skimmer so far. My question is how long have you guys been running it. It seems like every time i buy something cheap it always ends up costing me more in the long run.I am try to talk myself into getting it

I have the one with the pump outside.
Also fully Agree that cheap things cost more in the long run, but research will also save you money .. For instance this skimmer has the same pump as many name brand high dollar skimmers that have great reviews and really the pump is the expensive piece.
I have had this skimmer for a few months I am really happy thus far and the pump has yet to get clogged unlike my eshopps that would get crap stuck in it at least every other week.

Seriously looking at these now. I see the 150 model and then the smaller 65. I have a 30L display with a 20L sump/fuge. Like everyone always says, I plan on up grading later on. My question is do yall think the 150 would be overkill for my setup? I would like to get it and not have to buy another later on, but with my setup would this skim too much?

I don't believe you can overskim, I just ordered the 150 model for my 40b with 20 sump.
