sand for 150???

    how many lbs of sand would you put in a 150 gallon?

    Just to let you know I put in about 100-110 lbs of sand with 5 lbs live sand in my 120 Gallon. I have about 2-3 inch sand bed. Hope that helps.

    like he said. it will depend on how deep you want the sand bed.

    well a bit over the black strip and that is 2" sooo prob 2 1/2-3"

    And IMO if your tag is correct and you have all of those tangs and rabbitfish in a 90 gallon tank they will quickly outgrow it/develop behavioral issues that are associated with keeping large fish in a small tank.

    I've got 110 lbs of livesand in my 72 bowfront , if i were u I'd just keep adding sand untill you have the desired depth

    i have a 150 as well and there is 140lbs of sand in mine

    I have 3 tangs and my rabbitfish died....he wouldnt eat when I got him and died.....I have a queen angel that is about 1.5 inches my tangs are all over small so by the time they grow they will be in my 150 which is enough room for them but thank you

    Okay, it just sounded a little overcrowded...but if you do upgrade it will help out.
