I am having major salt creep problems mostly with my sump I have tried raising the water level. What could I use to prevent it?

Salt creep is often caused by bubbles. When the bubbles break at the surface, the resulting splash then dries, leaving behind salty residue. Over time this builds up. If you can eliminate the bubbles, a lot of times that'll do the trick.

No nothing you can really do. Your evaporation rate must run pretty fast. You could cover the sump with a type of lid.

What would be a good thing to build a lid out of? What can I do to fix this?

if you go to a hardware store, you can get a sheet of acrylic or Plexiglas to make a lid. As for cleanup, try a wet sponge or rag to wipe off that salt.

i have the same problem on my current 20 gallon saltwater tank, i get the salt everywhere, on the lid, filter, skimmer, i also have a very fast water evaporation in my tank, maybe that's part of it.
