I got a question for the experts. I got this rock from a guy thats tank crashed, it had yellow acro and green acro and orange digi..the yellow acro which is the larger one in the back is dead, for the most part, it still has yellow on it but its never had polyps extended, but the green acro, the brown one is coming back putting a nice lime green color, will the green acro end up encrusting over the dead yellow acros or is there a chance for the yellow to come back..what should i do, i got the rock just cuz i liked how the zoas were growing on it, im pretty sure it was wild just from the way the zoas are growing on it, you can just tell it wasnt from a frag..also the digi has rtn but the tip of the digi still is white with the orange polyps, should i just break off the tip and glue it somewhere else, but making sure i get just the fresh(not rtn area) and up to the tip of the coral..hope this makes sense..thanks

 

Honestly now i love it, when my parents first got it for my on christmas i couldnt figure out how to take the pics, and hated it, everything was super white and looked terrible..after messing with the white balance, there is a huge difference in them..

also once i figure out how to upload videos, ill post one, it takes hd movies and its crazy how close i can get to the birdsnest with the polyps out..

how did you know what camera i was taking the pics with..

 

Also i guess it would be good to list..All pics were taken with a Sony Cybershot 370 14megapixel 7x zoom..Great camera for the price and size, mainly got it for when i go to europe when i graduate IN MAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, the clam hasnt been in that exact spot but for a couple days..i completely redid my whole tank the other day..But ever since i have had the clam it has been on the sand bed..one day a couple weeks ago i put it on the rocks like an inch off the ground, basically just a little higher from where it was on the sand and it never would attach and turned itself on its side and now i guess it will always stay on the sand, plus i dont want it to let go of the rock one day for no reason...I have plenty of light..but for some reason i cant stop buying corals and fragging mine that im kinda running outta room so it might get moved to a rock that is so close to the sand that i would just be getting it off the sand bed so i can make room for some acans..

ive been eying a green maxima at my boys house that sells corals, when i go pick up my other two acans i might have to snatch it up..i had a derasa but i gave it to my brother..i still think it was the dumbest thing i ever did..its in great care but it is missed..
