    i know was told not to use a serten kind of snail becuse it will flip over and die in sand,the problem is i cant remeber what snails to use with pure sand. Im in the middle of a BIG Diatom Bloom. i know that is good for a new tank.but when i get sails i wount to get the right ones..

    its not that bad lol. reefcleaners.org is a good place to start. certh are my personal fav because they dont need help tipping back over, they mostly clean at night (wehen the lights are off) and they eat diatoms, slime and just about anything in the rock and sand

    Ceriths never flip and they love light, but they do clean at night. John is nice and will help you a lot!
