i had one colony go through RTN i was forced to frag it, but the frags did live on. and i guess the question to ask is there tissue flaking off the skeleton? its kind of hard to see. also those white tips are waaay to long to be new growth. the coral could have started to bleach out during shipping and may have started to recover in the lfs tank. just watch the tissue around where the white is and if it keeps receding then i would frag off just under the dieing section.

It looks as though the 2nd pic has some tissue loss. But as you have said it has not changed. I would not call it RTN. It could of had a battle at the LFS with another coral or just wasn't liking where it was.

I would cut off the dead parts of the coral as tissue does not grow back (dead coral is an algae magnet) and keep monitoring

Alright! so today I got home from getting my co2 and I found that my acro
has started browning. My entire tank has been getting a diatom bloom prlly due to my recent upgrade to m/h so I am probably going to frag it soon...The only issue is that right now I dont have any epoxy cause its in the mail.

Here are clearer picks of today.
There also seems to be some colouring up...where the white used to be. where it was white, there is uh..the green the rest of the body has.

This was taken from the back and is in high res

I believe the dead parts are attracting the diatoms and algae growth. I would simple cut off the dead. No need to frag it just trim the dead.

I agree, just trim off the dead parts and see how the acro does!

okay I just came home and checked on it. It appears that the green parts are starting to .... uh migrate upwards and the brown stuff seems to be...flaking? well not really flaking, more like..dust bunnying off it...
