    Hello,
When I first set up my tank last year it came with a rotating head which is the return from the sump. its pointing downward right on the rock and a little bit on the sand. I took it out because it was stirring up my sugary sand to much and replace it with a standard pvc pipe(not rotating). I replaced my sand with reef sand so it stay to the bottom.

I have been having a cyano problem for a while, I change my bulbs switch to ro/di unit , constantly manually remove it. the only thing I don't do yet is run carbon. I think if I put my rotating return back it may help because it puts more flow on the rock. But I am concern for adding this sudden flow on my corals they may hate it.

    Should I try it?
Have you ever used them? did you like them or not?
I have look at a lot of tank and have not seen one yet just want your feed back.

    Thanks:)

I don't use them in mine since I have 3 different power heads so I don't have any dead spots. I have sugary sand but the bacteria have been making the sand more establish so it doesn't get blown around like it used to. My return is a standard PVC and I will probably work with it to make it more pretty like.
