    Im thinking about picking up a rose goby, I just wonder if I would ever see it in my 40 gal.. they are soo tiny and cute :)

    do you guys think it would be worth it?

    dont know of a rose goby it might be a pinkbar or somthing... but yeah if its a true sand sifter it will be out in the open consantly

    Honestly I do not think you would ever see it. I know people that have them in smaller tanks and they never see them, to the point that they wonder from time to time if they are still alive. A pair with a pistol would be cool though.

    Thats what I was thinking.. :/ bummer. I want a pistol shrimp too though, Im debating on getting the pair I wonder if I would even see the two haha

    My LFS has a nano display tank with a pair of clownfish and one of those. I've seen it 2 times. very cryptic fish.

    I have one. It has picked a cave and only comes out at night to eat. It's cute though

    haha its also known as the hi fin red banded goby.. Im thinking maybe if I pair him with a pistol I MIGHT see it lol
