    That is a very generous discount IMO. I use ALOT of RO water so my own unit has saved my time AND money. My tap water is very hard, (so hard that I run a cichlid tank on tap water without adding a buffer) as for my planted tank, I use a mixture of tap and RO to get the right GH. And I would use nothing in my saltwater tanks but RODI
