That's subjective. They could have been "weakened" (whatever you're defining that as) for any number of other reasons, too.

You could not possibly drink enough RO/DI to do yourself harm, you woulddrown internally meaning your cells would drown, before you would see any other effects.

Did you hear about the girl that died at the radio station water drinking contest? The contest was to see who could drink the most water and not go pee, and she straight up died! not that this has anything really to do with my point. I'm very aware of water weight : and not really worried about that part.
