What is a really really good rodi unit? I know spectrapure is great but I want one that is at least a little better.

There is no better than Spectrapure, they are the Cadillac of the industry with 25+ years experience.
They offer reef quality systems starting at $120 to over $900 depending on your needs and engineer everything they sell from the ground up, nothing is off the shelf.

Thank you. I had issues with my last spectrapure unit but that was like 2 years in. Don't think the membrane is shot but I'm just replacing it anyways. Specrtapures customer service is amazing though... I'll get a new one now. Thank you AZ.

BRS doesn't compare. They do not treat and test all their RO membranes nor do they use 0.5 micron absolute rated sediment filters, custom blend all their own DI resins based on thousands of hours of testing or do they use the much better capillary tube flow restrictors, there is a difference and Spectrapure has been around for 25 years because of that difference. Nothing they sell is "off the shelf".
I love BRS chemicals but their RO is middle of the road and nothing special.

Yes i would agree SpectraPure is the king. BRS is a quality unit great "bang for the buck". I mean they basically do the same job! How bad is ur tap water is the question! For $199 can get a 5 stage unit w/ all the bells and whistles from BRS.

If money is not and issue go w/ Spectra Bottom line is producing quality water!

The comparable Spectrapure unit is $120? $199 vs. $120...I think $120 wins out plus is a better unit.

I liked my buckeye field supply unit and it came with a pressure gauge and tds meter. Also customer service was top notch as I had ordered a float valve and they asked if it was the rodi because it would need an auto shutoff also and they installed it for me.
