Okay I get the point about the spectrapure. I think I will just give in and order it. I wish it was still on sale though. Thanks for all the input.

Look at their main website, it is on sale, but only $50 off now instead of $100 off. $199 is still better than $249.

I think that sale flyer ends today. You might wait but then again it may not go on sale again either?

Bulkreefsupply.com is the best value. Quality stuff too.

Ive looked at their stuff too. I liked the prices especially. However, as I stated before I want something of high quality and reasonable cost. At this point Most people on here have me leaning towards the spectrapure for $199. It woul save me some money to go with a bulkreefsupply unit but would it only be over the short run?

BRS does not offer anything unique, its all off the shelf normal stuff although at competitive prices. Spectrapure treats all their membranes with a proprietary process, then either bacth tests or individually hand tests and guarantees their performance to be better than 98% in writing for the Select series. They also are the only vendor who has a test facility and custom blends every ounce of DI resin they sell so it is not only fresh but outperforms all other hands down, often last 3 or more times longer. They are the only vendor I ma aware of who use the much better and more expensive absolute rated prefilter versus nominal rated filters. Add to that 0.5 micron carbons and only the best capillary tube flow restrictors and you get much more than any other vendor. You get what you pay for and then some and it pays you back in no time at all.

Thank you for your input. I think I will go with the spectrapure. I do not know much about rodi units but I trust everybody on here knows what they are talking about when it comes to high quality vs cost in the long run products.
