ive been running my new rodi for 3 days now and nothing but idk if this is normal. Ill run it for 15min get pissed off cause theres no rodi water and just waste but i tested the waste water and this is what i found.
    day 1-tds = 550ppm
    day 2-tds = 460ppm
    day 3-tds = 330ppm

whats going on? do i have to wait till it gets alot lower THEN fresh water will come out?

Sounds like something isn't hooked up correctly. If there is waste water than there should be RODI coming out. Can you see the DI canister filling up? Also do you have a bypass valve that is open? Might want to call the vendor you purchased it from.

Water should come out within a few minutes.
Does your unit have a flush valve installed and is it in the open or bypass position rather than the closed position?

Does your unit have a flow restrictor installed? If you hold your finger over or slightly kink the end of the waste line does water then come out of the treated RO line?

What is your tap water TDS?

What is your water pressure going in to the unit? How about the water temperature?

How and where do you have it installed? Is the cold water faucet or needle valve open all the way?

Are you sure it has a RO membrane installed in the housing? Sometimes they accidentally get shipped with no membrane.
