    I think buying rock at LFS's is better IMO. While you'll definitely save some cash online, you won't get too see the EXACT pieces your ordering. I know when I was buying my LR, I wanted a scape that had arcs and holes for fish to swim through and sleep in.. So I went to a few diff stores and bought pieces that pertained to the look I wanted.. Just a thought!

    thats what ive always done, ive only ordered online once and the rocks came in all funky sizes. some weighed 20lbs. otehrs didnt even weight 1

    I ordered from bulk reef supply. If they are too big I'll just bust them up. I only ordered a few lbs of rock then I ordered a few lbs of rubble (marble to tennis ball size is what they claim). I wanted to start with dry simply because the rock I got from my LFS has a bunch of stuff I don't want in my nano and they don't have dry rock. If nothing else I can put it in my sump...
