I just finished a rock today. It's stuck together with black pond foam. Very strong and easy to work with. It's seven different rocks stuck together. Didn't have a chance to make a post about it yet because I'm working at moving corals onto it now.

Well I placed an order for a few lbs dry rock and rubble from BRS. It all depends on the rocks I get.

It's going into the 125 reef. I superglued the rocks just enough so they would stay in place, then squirted the pond foam in between the rocks. I had to do one rock at a time. The stuff dries hard in about an hour. I cut most of the excess off with a knife, then used a rasp to get it to shape. When I had it carved the way I liked it, I took a long coarse screw, like 4", and fine tuned the edges. I also used the screw to poke holes and gouge out little crevices to try to match the real rock. Not really so hard, just takes a little time and patience. If you mess up, you simply spray more foam on it.
