You can get a batch tested 90 GPD membrane for $35 or a individually hand tested and guaranteed 98+% 90 GPD for only $45 on sale. I doubt your LFS can come anywhere close to that price and I know they don't have tested or guaranteed membranes at all unless they are a Spectrapure dealer.

 

You should grab the $150 ProPlus 90gpd model, it's a steal at that price. I love my unit, been making water all week, super build quality, you get the bells & whistles (pressure gauge & dual inline TDS meters) and the price cannot be beat.
