Mine sometimes read 1 or 2. Are you using the same buckets to store your RO/DI water and to mix your salt water?

Did you just buy the unit? How about before the DI? You always want the water coming out of DI to be 0.

I would check the TDS after the ro and report back. The DI resin could be spent, it could be time for all new filter too. Its hard to say without tds readins other than after di.

If you haven't changed the filter for a year then it is time to replace the prefilter and carbon.

If you use it a fair amount then it is still time. I make about 30 gallons a week of RODI water and need to replace the filters quarterly. I don't know what your TDS from the tap is but I am guessing it is pretty high where you are at.

Tds going to ro is 188x 10ish going out is 127ish going to di is 30ish and now coming out my meter is reading 14ish
I use it once a week to fill a 5 gallon bucket for my top off, and every 2weeks do 15-30 for water change

Ill order new filtets see if that corrects it
