    Lost the first piece of saltwater livestock ever introduced to my tank today. A hitchhiking nassarius snail named speedy. He showed up in the live sand I bought from the LFS and started trucking around my tank before it even had water in it. Survived all the huge mistakes I made when first starting out. Now, once all the kinks have been worked out, he dies of what I can only assume is old age. That little sail was bulletproof. Rest in peace Speedy.

    I had the same happen to me, exept mine was named Freddy and Im not sure if he is dead or hiding

    Speedy is now just an empty shell. So if he is hiding, it is a neat trick.
